The Bridge isn't connecting to my WiFi, what can I do?
Encountering difficulties connecting your WiFi Bridge to your WiFi network? Here are common issues and their remedies to get you back on track:
Antenna Check and Proximity: Ensure your antenna is securely attached and you're in close proximity to your router.
Password Accuracy: Double-check your password entry for accuracy. If copy-pasting, remove any unintended spaces before or after the password. Note that non-English characters (Ä/ä, Ö/ö, Ü/ü), semicolons (;), or hashtags (#) can't be accepted as a WiFi name or password.
Router Restart: If previous steps are correct, restart your router. At times, router issues can impede Bridge connectivity.
Dual Band Router Compatibility: For newer routers with 2.4GHz and 5GHz channels, the Bridge only connects to 2.4GHz. Temporarily disable 5GHz channels during setup (re-enable after). Alternatively, create a 2.4GHz-only Guest network for the setup process and cooking synchronization.
Channel Configuration: Some routers feature special channels that can affect connection. Opt for channels 1, 2, 3, 4, or 11 as they usually present no issues. Configure your router to one of these channels for a more stable connection.
