# How do I charge my Stick?

There are a few different ways you can charge your Stick:

**The MeatStick 4 and Chef:**

**Auto Slow Charging:**

* The Stick charges slowly when placed on the charger. After cooking, placing it on the charger turns it off and it fully charges overnight.
* To check the battery, press the charger button to activate the Stick. The app will display the battery status and enable fast charging.

**Fast Charging:**

* Place the Stick on the charger and press the button to activate fast charging. The indicator light will briefly turn on.
* Check the app for a battery icon with a lightning bolt to confirm fast charging.
* The charger's LED turns off when the Stick is fully charged. Charging times may vary based on battery conditions.
