# How long does it need to be charged?

If a Stick's battery is empty, it takes 2 to 4 hours to fully charge with fast charging.

The charger's light stays on while the Stick fast charges. When it goes out, the Stick is fully charged. On the MeatStick 4X and Chef X Chargers, the light blinks after charging if the Xtender is on; that also means the Stick is full.
