# How does the Xtender (X Charger) work?

The Xtender boosts your signal range by capturing and amplifying signals from nearby Sticks. Here's how it works:

1. Press the button on the charger to activate the Xtender mode.
2. You can check the Xtender mode status of the charger by observing the LED light on the charger. If there's a constant green light blinking on the LED, it means that the Xtender mode is on.
3. Position it in close proximity, within 3ft / 1m to your Stick, ensuring an improved signal.
4. Continue your cooking process with added confidence.

#### Activation

1. **Insert Batteries:**
 * Insert 2 x AA batteries into your charger.
 * The Xtender automatically turns on.
2. **Activate Xtender Mode:**
 * If batteries are already inside, press the button on the charger.
 * Check for a constant green blinking LED to confirm Xtender mode is on.

#### Usage

* **Placement:**
 * Position the charger within 6ft / 2m of your Stick for optimal signal.
* **Automatic Turn Off:**
 * The Xtender turns off automatically if no Stick signal is detected for 10 minutes.

Upon completing your cooking, the Xtender will automatically turned off if it does not detect any live Stick for 10 minutes.
