How do I turn off my Stick?
MeatStick:
In general, the Stick will auto-shut off after 30 minutes if it is not in use or when the temperature slowly increasing.
MeatStick Mini:
As there is no ambient sensor, the auto-shut off of the Stick is based on changes in the internal temperature. It will not shut off if the internal temp is over 104 °F / 40 °C.
We have implemented an algorithm where it will shut itself off when there are changes in temperature when it’s slowly increasing. If it detects for example 28 °C - 29 °C - 28 °C it will shut off after 30 minutes.
