# Is there an optimal placement method?

To ensure optimal performance and range, follow these placement guidelines for your WiFi Bridge:

#### Upright Placement

* Place the WiFi Bridge in a vertical position, facing the direction from which you'd like to receive the signal.

#### Proximity to MeatSticks

* Position the WiFi Bridge close to the MeatSticks in use.

#### Recommended Distance

* Maintain at least 6 ft / 2 m distance between the WiFi Bridge and the MeatSticks.
