# How to update the WiFi Bridge's firmware

We are committed to enhancing accuracy, signal strength, and introducing new features through ongoing algorithm improvements. When a new firmware version is available, you can easily update your WiFi Bridge's firmware by following these steps:

#### Prompted Update

1. **Notification:** When your WiFi Bridge is connected, the MeatStick App will notify you of a new firmware update.
2. **Follow Instructions:** Follow the prompted instructions in the app to proceed with the update.

#### Manual Check

1. **Navigate to Settings:** Open the MeatStick App and go to the WiFi Bridge settings.
2. **Check for Updates:** Manually check for available firmware updates.

#### Ensure you have a few minutes to spare for the update process and **d**o not initiate an update if you're pressed for time to start your cooking.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.themeatstick.com/legacy-products/legacy/wifi-bridge/how-to-update-the-wifi-bridges-firmware.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
