# How do I turn off my Stick?

The MeatStick 4 and MeatStick Chef turn off automatically for your convenience:

* **Inactivity**: Automatically turn off after 30 minutes of inactivity or minimal temperature changes.
* **Charging**: Automatically turn off when placed on their corresponding chargers.

This automation allows you to focus on cooking without manually turning off your MeatStick.
